NLC’s Cities of Opportunity initiative offers ways for city leaders and their partners to comprehensively address health and wellbeing. It has various engagement levels for city leaders, their staff, and partners to meet them where they are. The initiative offers coaching, consulting, peer learning, and convenings focused on the intersection of health, housing, race and equity, and economic development. Applications are open for the Cities of Opportunity Learning Lab.
NLC recently launched its Cities of Opportunity Learning Lab. It is a quarterly peer learning group where municipal leaders work together to discuss ways to effectively use data, different financing approaches, to build multi-sector collaborations, and develop comprehensive approaches to address housing, economic opportunity, and city planning & design.
